Growing Generations Child Development celebrated the groundbreaking of their new daycare center in Andover, MN! Premier Commercial Properties, the broker and developer, provided site search and development for the new facility.

Andover Growing Generations is a new child development center that broke ground on a 1.77 acre vacant site in Andover, Minnesota at 15216 Bluebird Street NW – the northeast quadrant of Hanson Boulevard NW and Crosstown Boulevard NW. The new 10,445 sf building will provide child care with enrichment classes and activities for up 144 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Special programs like Yoga, Kid Fit, Adventures in Music, Let’s Grow, Science Explorers, fieldtrips will be included.
The new Andover business will add 27 jobs to the area. This is the second location for Growing Generations Child Development, the first location was built in Hugo in 2016 which met a great demand for child care in the Hugo area. Jessica Sharp, Growing Generations executive director says, “Our mission is to provide premier high quality care with a stimulating early learning and educational experience that encourages life-long learning.” She adds, “We started this business in order to offer children and their families in and near Hugo, a warm, loving and positive place to learn and grow in the early years of life. I want to offer them the best care possible.” Sharp has a special connection to and history with the Hugo area.
Andover City Mayor Trude, city council and county officials as well as the property development and construction teams joined the executive director of Growing Generations and other guests at the event to celebrate construction with ceremonious shoveling of the earth.
